What are your thoughts on Science engagement?

There's a really good website that covers this (TeachersPayTeachers has some free ones).

I use a reward system (like stickers or points) and it completely solved this issue.

I've completely given up on this approach and switched to project-based learning instead.

Make sure you document everything in case administration asks.

I totally agree with this! In my classroom, we always start with a mini-lesson.

Sometimes you just have to take a deep breath and realize it's just one day. Tomorrow will be better!
